Statutory guidelines governing architectural hardware transactions, vendor fulfillments, and client rights.
1. Platform Governance & Authenticity
Alight International facilitates direct commercial transactions between verified architectural hardware manufacturers and end clients, contractors, and interior designers across India. Every product cataloged carries an authentic manufacturer warranty and adheres to published Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) specifications.
2. Commercial Pricing & Tax Invoicing
- All product quotes and prices are expressed in Indian National Rupees (₹) inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- A computer-generated, digitally signed GST Tax Invoice carrying the vendor's authorized GSTIN and HSN code is issued upon consignment dispatch.
- Registered corporate buyers can claim statutory Input Tax Credit (ITC) by providing a valid 15-digit GSTIN at checkout.
3. Payment Settlement & Escrow Protection
To safeguard commercial buyers and prevent defective order disbursements, payments are held securely in platform escrow until full consignment receipt and expiration of the standard 7-day technical inspection window.
4. Concierge & Dispute Resolution
In the event of transport transit discrepancies, dimensional mismatches, or finish defects, our dedicated architectural concierge mediates directly with the manufacturing factory to provide rapid replacements or full financial restitution.
